We have an opening for a analytical Financial analyst with an entrepreneurial spirit and an enduring mentality, who wants to gain valuable experience and exposure at a rapidly scaling telco startup in Singapore. Circles.Life is looking for a Financial Analyst who possess superior analytical skills, energy, drive and attention to details. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving company financial planning and analysis as well as management reporting activities, while advising management on capital budgeting and allocation decisions.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate across teams and company leadership to build comprehensive financial plans that enable the company to scale rapidly and profitably
  • Develop a thorough understanding of a fast growing telco business operation; and apply your analytical skills to identify how to deploy capital more efficiently
  • Build key financial and data analyses to address critical business questions, and make better strategic decisions in line with the financial plan
  • Prepare financial analysis on historical performance, synthesizing the performance into insights for investors and management to drive performance.
  • Ensure accuracy of data, drive continuous improvement of financial reporting, handle month end close reporting: reconciliation, consolidation and analyses of monthly financial results and communication to management.
  • Research, set up and manage an efficient reporting tool engine to provide robust business reports to support decision making.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Data Science with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in multi-cultural teams.
  • Ability to build, update, and maintain complex financial models representing the current and future state of the business.
  • Ability to understand concepts and ideas quickly and model data in meaningful ways
  • Self driven with ability to take on and create new assignments.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and business sense, proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions.
  • Excellent personal and business presentation skills, in particular the presentation of financial information to audience without finance background.
  • Good relationship builder, assertive and able to influence upwards and peers
  • Ability to work in a fast moving environment in cross functional and cross cultural teams
  • Open-minded, willingness to learn; a risk taker who constantly thrives to changing and challenging business environment
